Biography:

Dr Bernadette Julier has expertise in quantitative and molecular genetics on forage legumes. Major traits of interest are forage yield in pure or mixed stands, persistency and forage quality. Methodologies include association genetics, genomic selection and QTL studies. She is the coordinator of the European project EUCLEG “Breeding forage and grain legumes to increase EU’s and China’s protein self-sufficiency” (2017-2021) http://www.eucleg.eu.
